Certification Fee & CEU Changes
A recent communiqué from the Natural Therapies Accreditation Commission (NTAC) indicates that there is a strong movement in the accreditation field to institute annual certification based on annual continuing education requirements. NTCB believes that within a year or two this will be mandatory. Therefore, the NTCB Executive Board, President and Executive Director have adopted one year renewal requirements and announced a change in the certification fee/renewal schedule effective January 1, 2009:
$65.00 - Certification/year - 20 CEUs
$25.00 - Additional Certification
$200.00 - NTCB Examination- Proctored in Class
$250.00 - NTCB Examination - Proctored Locally
$250.00 - NTCB Examination - When Online Testing Becomes Available
$25.00 - Renewal Late Fee
$25.00 - ISF Fee
$95.00 - BCIA/Other Reciprocal
Members who hold 3 year renewals due by 12/31/08 may renew at $150/3 years ($175 if past due) if recertification is received before November 15, 2008 as we transition to the one year renewal process. Starting January 1, 2009, all new and current re-certifications will be renewed for one year.

All other types of certification may use the current application form. Please indicate on the form that this is for renewal and include your Certification number printed on your certificate.
NTCB Phone and Email Change
The NTCB has changed its email address to ntcb.info@gmail.com and you must now dial 800-710-1539 extension 1 to contact the NTCB.
Pay Online!
The NTCB now offers practitioners the opportunity to pay for certification, exams, and renewal membership online by using our Secure Credit Card Gateway provided by IPX Services, Inc. This includes Biofeedback Technician / Basic Skills certification for those attending beginner's classes and Biofeedback Specialist test examinations.
New! Natural Therapies Insurance
Effective July 1, 2008 the Biofeedback Association of North America (BANA) merged with the Natural Therapies Association of North America (TNTANA) If you are a member of BANA you will have the option of being a dual member with TNTANA. This dual membership allows you to extend your current benefits to cover more of the health care interventions. The total fee for adding one or more of these additional healing modalities is $50 per year or part of a year. You may add this coverage at any time and you will continue to receive your BANA membership and benefits in the future. Should you decide to add any additional modalities you will also receive a TNTANA membership.
TNTANA is open to qualified professionals certified in acupressure, alternative healthcare, aromatherapy, auricular therapy, bioenergetics, biofeedback, biofrequency, colon hydrotherapy, homeopathy, hypnotism, light therapy, natural therapy, naturopathy, neurofeedback, neurotherapy, nutrition, pain management, quantum biofeedback, reflexology, shiatsu, sound therapy, spiritual healing, stress management and healing modalities equivalent to any of these modalities.The membership fee is $200 per year for professional members. For an additional fee of $50 you may join BANA and become a dual member with TNTANA. For more information, please visit their website.

Join the Biofeedback Association of North America (BANA) and pay reduced rates as a technician or specialist for membership and benefits. Those benefits include arbitration, malpractice, general liability, identity theft and several other benefits.
